About PeerProf

PeerProf was created by current and former college students and college professors as a social network for academic purposes to increase learning, share thoughts and ideas and as a resource for current college students to better understand subject material.

With over 17 million college students in the United States and over 180 million English speaking college students around the world, all of these resources are now as close as your computer or your cell phone.Peerprof is not meant to be a short cut to your college education but to provide you with maximum resources to achieve your goals and offer assistance to others.

The site was developed over an 18 month period with input from current college students. In fact, a percentage of PeerProf is actually owned by college students. During this development period focus groups were held on college campuses and the results were 99% positive and in favor of the site. Our research consistently showed that college students were eager to help other students.
